The attendants of the meeting discussed prospects and challenges of further integration of Ukraine into the global information environment, and the prospects of enhancement of Ukrainian legislation in the field of information and communication.
The attendants of the meeting appreciated "considerable positive ten-year influence of the National Informatization Program on enhancement of introduction of modern information and communication technologies in Ukraine".
The participants also appreciated the activity of the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" concerning holding of the 21st International Conference and the meeting of the General Assembly of the Committee on Data for Science and Technology under the International Council for Science ICSU (CODATA) scheduled for October, 2008.
